First up, the Anastasia Contour Kit. I am obsessed!

This one little palette has everything you need to sculpt your face. There are three shades of dark contour powder. Don't shy away from the darkest ones, you can use it very sparingly - as it is very pigmented- to shade your problem areas. This is a fantastic kit. I recommend it to everyone.

Up next, my MAC mineralized skin finish natural in medium dark. It is my most favorite powder. The coverage is perfect for over foundation or over some concealer. I like the new packaging, but I have to say it is a pain to open.

The lipsticks are MAC Pink Nouveau and Shy Shine. I wore them a ton this summer.
At the bottom is the Marc Jacobs neutral eye shadow palette. The colors are soft and blend-able.

Last but not least, TIEKS! These shoes- which I have in black- are super comfy. There were a birthday present from my sister, and I absolutely adore them.

Face of the day// Face of the night

Face of the day 10/06/13

It's crazy how much the color of your lipstick can change your look dramatically:

September Faves!

I can't believe September is over! This year flew by so quick, and so much has happened in the last year. I wonder what next year will bring.

Well, let's get on with the beauty products!

Here's a MAC quad I made up last year. I love these colors! Don't they look like Fall?
Top: Texture, Era
Bottom: Antiqued, Embark

This Elf Baked Eyeshadow in Toast is pretty, but it makes an even better blush/highlight! I've been wearing it on my cheeks all month.

My sister introduced me to this concealer  and I had to get one. It lasts all day, and doesn't look cakey. The only downside is that, way too much comes out when you press the pump.

Lastly, I've really been into nude lips this month. With my skin tone, what works as a nude for me, might be bolder on you. My two faves this month has been MAC Please Me (top) and Half n' Half (bottom.)

That's all for this month's beauty products!

Hope you have a lovely October!

FOTN

Please excuse the quality of the pictures, because they were taken with my iPhone, under poor lighting. Tonight, my hubby and I had dinner at his parent's house along with a few other family members. The weather was finally chilly so I decided to go with a darker lip
( MAC Retro,) and sparkly neutral eyes ( MAC/ Lorac.)

I can't say enough good things about Lorac Unzipped, but I will review that in my next post. On my lashes, I used Benefit's They're Real Mascara. I love it, but it's a pain to remove!

After dinner, my hubby and I went up to the balcony and enjoyed the view. Hope you had a great Friday night!

August is finally over! I say that with much joy. As much as I love the bright colors, and the sunny long days, I grow tired of it sometime in mid July. The sticky heat and humidity of the north east is too much for me. I much prefer autumn. Thinking about it now has definitely put me in a good mood.

This is my first monthly beauty post, enjoy!

In the first box are my favorite skincare products:
1)  éclos Plant Stem Cells Instant Radiance Facial Scrub
2)  éclos Plant Stem Cells Anti- Aging Facial Cleanser and Skin Prep
3) Vasaeline Spray & Go
4) Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2
5) Bio-Oil

I can't rave enough about the two  éclos products! It is hands down the best scrub and cleanser I have ever used. That's a big statement, but it's true! It's completely changed the texture of my skin, brightened it, and keeps any blemishes at bay. I will continue to re-purchase these!

The Vaseline Spray & Go, was perfect for dry days or days at the beach, the Clinique Clarifying lotion is amazing for blemishes or acne, and I use the Bio-oil for any dark spots left by acne scars. I don't normally get acne, but a couple of months ago I got a hormonal breakout, and boy did it wreck my skin.

The second box are my favorite nail polishes of the summer I would say:

Left to Right:
Zoya Maya, Zoya Shelby, Zoya Minka, Essie Van d'Go, Essie Waltz

The third box are my makeup faves which I literally wore all summer:

Clinique Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey, Mac lipstick in Please Me, Mac Prolong wear blush in Stay Pretty, Bare Minerals powder foundation, and Elf mineral eyeshadow in Toasted.

The last box are both lip products swatched.

I'm looking forward to doing these every month, and seeing my preferences change.

Till next time!
